Title: Head of Global Marketing (Senior Director)

Position Overview

This is a unique opportunity for a Marketing leader to build a world class oncology marketing organization to support the launch of Fyarro, Aadi’s leading asset. Reporting to the CCO, the Head of Global Marketing will establish a best-in-class approach to global marketing including development and execution of scalable disease and brand strategies, annual marketing plans and life cycle management. The Head of Global Marketing will execute innovative approaches to tactics and programs that achieve global brand priorities, starting with the US. The role requires collaboration with Aadi’s Executive team and other functional leaders across market access, pricing & reimbursement and market research, sales and medical affairs. The Head of Global Marketing will serve as a critical member of the Global Commercial Leadership and Launch teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated FYARRO launch plan based on global brand strategy and customer insights to include:
  • Drive customer insights into the FYARRO brand vision, positioning and messaging programs
  • Identify PEComa patients and stakeholders (pathologists, oncologists, sarcoma specialists, etc.) and establish FYARRO as the standard of care

Title: Head of US Sales / National Sales Director

Position Overview

Title: Head of Medical Affairs (Senior Director)

Position Overview

This is a unique opportunity for a Medical Affairs leader to build a team of internally and externally facing professionals to support the launch of Fyarro, Aadi’s leading asset. The Head of Medical Affairs will have several responsibilities, such as: leading medical information development, investigator-initiated trial programs, and early access programs; recruiting, training and managing Medical Science Liaisons; overseeing medical publications; managing Health-Economics Outcome Research (HEOR), medical advisory boards, and patient advocacy; and conducting medical review of commercial marketing materials. The position will ultimately report to the Chief Medical Officer but will report to the Chief Commercial Officer in the interim.

The Head of Medical Affairs will be responsible for building and guiding the Medical Affairs function by setting a vision and direction for the department.  The role provides strategic leadership and works closely with cross-functional leadership that includes Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, and other functions to ensure that the Medical Affairs scientific and medical strategies are aligned with broader corporate and medical community needs. Close collaboration will be needed with the global experts in each given field to ensure patient voice, clinical and value impact, and regulatory inputs are incorporated. Title: Head of Market Access (Senior Director)

Position Overview

This is a unique opportunity for a Market Access leader to support the launch of Fyarro, Aadi’s first commercial asset. Reporting to the CCO, the Head of Market Access is responsible for developing and leading all Market Access related activities, including: pricing and reimbursement strategy, evidence generation, payer marketing and account management, reimbursement operations (including patient assistance programming and HUB operations), contracting and channel strategy and government price reporting.  This position will develop and execute on Fyarro’s global access and pricing strategy in collaboration with Aadi’s Executive Team. In addition, the Head of Market Access will working closely with external partners, agencies and internal Medical Affairs and Clinical Development teams to establish the strategy and tactics for evidenced-based health economics outcomes research to inform Fyarro’s payer value proposition for its launch indication and follow-on indications. The role requires close collaboration with Aadi’s Executive team and other functional leaders across marketing, medical affairs and market research. The Head of Market Access will serve as a critical member of the Global Commercial Leadership and Launch teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead all market access initiatives required for the successful commercialization of Fyarro in PEComa and future follow-on indications
  • Lead the development a global pricing and distribution strategy to maximize the value of Fyarro while ensuring widespread patient access by overseeing global access, HTA assessment and pricing strategies
  • Design and build a highly effective, cost-efficient Market Access organization to successfully launch the company’s first product Fyarro; develop and implement strategies to optimize coverage and reimbursement of Fyarro

Title: Medical National Field Director

Position Overview

The National Field Director (NFD) will lead a national team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) in the area of oncology with a focus on soft tissue sarcomas.  This role will require a deep understand of disease state, clinical treatments and the ability to understand and synthesize novel molecular pathways and apply that to clinical practice.  The NFD is responsible for performance and compliance standards of the team nationally. The NFD manages various aspects of the employment experience including, but not limited to: recruiting and hiring, performance management and corrective items, reconciliation and expense management, and employee relations related issues.  The NFD will work closely with the Head of Medical Affairs to achieve all project goals, while actively working to develop efficiencies and remove any barriers to successful program implementation.

This position will report to the Senior Director and Head of Medical Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, interview, train, build and manage high-performance MSL team; providing supporting and strategic coverage to key national accounts as needed
  • Plan, organize and monitor employee assignments, territories, activities and projects to achieve program objectives
  • Work with Medical Affairs to translate program requirements into actionable field strategy plans that can be successfully delivered by field team members

  • Must be able to successfully complete client training and meet training expectations in order to proceed to leading the team within the parameters of the program.
  • Willingness to travel to work related meetings and functions (including overnight and/or weekend) – anticipated 80%+ travel; residence near a major airport is preferred

This individual would be part of the national MSL team and will be responsible for educating health care providers in sarcoma of soft tissues. They will interface with HCPs, including oncologists and pathologists, to resolve clinical inquiries with in-person and remote responses, develop collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and improve delivery of clinical care. The MSL provides non-promotional, disease state and product specific information and medical support in response to HCP requests including information regarding the safe and effective use of medicines.  This will occur through scientific interactions with external stakeholders, delivering support to clinical development colleagues and investigators conducting clinical trials, and offering scientific support for internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate will possess highly engaging presentation skills, the ability to synthesize, interpret and distill large quantities of clinical data across multiple therapeutic areas and be able to work across multiple internal stakeholders to resolve customer inquiries.

This position will report to the Medical Affairs National Field Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with KOLs, HCPs, institutions and health systems, as well as peer MSLs, sales team partners and other medical colleagues
  • Synthesize and present complex scientific and medical information to a diverse audience, including but not limited to payors and GPOs
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, to include investigators and potential investigators, professional societies, advocacy groups, and health care professionals, in a non-promotional manner about Aadi’s lead asset, FYARRO
  • Effectively present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a wide variety of audiences both internally and externally and across a continuum of stakeholders within the assigned geography
  • Gain valuable insight and feedback from the healthcare community medical and scientific information and utilize this information with internal stakeholders
  • Respond compliantly to medical and clinical information requests from healthcare professionals ensuring all medical information responses are factual, fair and balanced, scientifically accurate and comply with compliance policies and local codes of practice, guidelines and laws to ensure the strictest requirements are met
  • Maintain expertise in the scientific/therapeutic areas assigned, as well as all therapeutic options, including but not limited to competitor drugs
  • Support clinical development activities and programs
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the pathophysiology and treatment of soft tissue sarcomas
  • Maintain scientific knowledge in the treatment of soft tissue sarcomas and other disease areas as assigned
  • Adhere, at all times, to corporate policies and guidance, as well as remain in compliance with all relevant Federal and State legal and regulatory guidelines

 

Key Qualifications and Skills

Required:

  • Advanced degree required from an accredited college or university (Pharm D, Ph.D, MD, DNP, PA, NP, Master’s degree); PhD preferred
  • 5+ years of solid tumor/oncology experience with strong knowledge of the pharma/biotech industry preferred
  • 2+ years MSL experience required, ideally from a mix of mid-sized to large and small companies; experience with single-asset biopharma companies preferred
  • Excellent presentation, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong understanding of healthcare system and decision making around oncology patient treatment plans; capable of engaging with key healthcare system stakeholders in a polished and professional way
  • Excellent time management skills, with a focus on ruthless prioritization; able to anticipate challenges and create strategies for success
  • Willingness to travel to work related meetings and functions (including overnight and/or weekend) – anticipated 60-80% travel; residence near a major airport is preferred
  • Successful record of achieving and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory, legal, and operational rules
  • Trustworthy with high level of integrity, possesses an enterprise mindset; strong process skills, sense of urgency; results-oriented, professionally driven, self-starter; resourceful, decisive and proactive
  • A valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Successfully pass pre-employment background check including drug screen
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude, working proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams) and Zoom/virtual meeting systems.

Preferred:

  • Experience with sarcoma and soft tissue tumors
  • Experience working with pathologists and oncologists
