Title: Head of Global Marketing (Senior Director)

Position Overview

This is a unique opportunity for a Marketing leader to build a world class oncology marketing organization to support the launch of Fyarro, Aadi’s leading asset. Reporting to the CCO, the Head of Global Marketing will establish a best-in-class approach to global marketing including development and execution of scalable disease and brand strategies, annual marketing plans and life cycle management. The Head of Global Marketing will execute innovative approaches to tactics and programs that achieve global brand priorities, starting with the US. The role requires collaboration with Aadi’s Executive team and other functional leaders across market access, pricing & reimbursement and market research, sales and medical affairs. The Head of Global Marketing will serve as a critical member of the Global Commercial Leadership and Launch teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated FYARRO launch plan based on global brand strategy and customer insights to include:

  • Drive customer insights into the FYARRO brand vision, positioning and messaging programs

  • Identify PEComa patients and stakeholders (pathologists, oncologists, sarcoma specialists, etc.) and establish FYARRO as the standard of care

  • Partner with Medical Affairs and Clinical to continually advance KOL development and drive a stream of FYARRO publications

  • Develop & maintain monthly launch forecast that captures patient flow in an incidence model

  • Work with Market Access to optimize pricing at launch and for future indications

  • Develop launch Key Performance Indicators and align with Executive Team and other stakeholders

  • Develop and maintain Patient, HCP & caregiver education platform

  • Lead FYARRO Life Cycle Management initiative

  • Hire, lead and develop team of marketers responsible for marketing leadership of FYARRO ranging from investigational programs at various stages of clinical development/regulatory to commercial launch, globally

  • Work with Marketing team in key geographies to ensure consistency of positioning & message across geographies

  • Source and manage market research, PR, traditional advertising, digital advertising, social media for unique patient and HCP populations while compiling with local regulatory guidelines

  • Work closely/lead cross-functional teams of medical affairs, patient advocacy, clinical, sales, regulatory, legal and market access professionals to execute HCP engagement and patient finding initiatives

  • Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and compliance stakeholders to ensure compliant development and execution of marketing initiatives

  • Provide commercial assessment and marketing due diligence support for in/out licensing business development opportunities

 

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • BS/BA degree required; advanced degree a plus

  • 10+ years of marketing experience from a mix of mid-sized to large and small biopharma companies; experience with single-asset biopharma companies preferred

  • 5+ years of marketing management experience in building, leading, and developing high performing teams, ideally with global work experience; experience with EU5 market access preferred

  • Oncology commercial launch experience required (2+ successful launches); experience with specialty oncology or ultra-orphan indications preferred

  • Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of global healthcare commercialization defining market issues & developing strategy

  • Demonstrated expertise in marketing products to diverse customer segments, including physician, payer, and consumer on both a country and regional level

  • Proven track record of performance via consistently meeting or exceeding financial and/or other quantitative targets and qualitative goals

  • Strong financial analysis skills with industry data related to sales, market share, price/volume, call activity, market research, etc.

  • Success leveraging market research data and communication of its results and application

  • Understanding of the R&D process and importance of integrating commercial and development strategy and plans

  • Successful record of achieving and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory, legal, and operational rules

  • Proficient with MS Office applications and experienced working with external vendors

  • Trustworthy with high level of integrity, possesses an enterprise mindset; strong process skills, sense of urgency; results-oriented, professionally driven, self-starter; resourceful, decisive and proactive

  • History of thriving in ambiguity, managing multiple priorities while maintain focus on achieving defined objectives

  • Excellent interpersonal communications, public speaking, and presentation skills; highly communicative leader who maintains transparency both internally and externally

Other Relevant Information

  • This role can be based in Los Angeles OR remotely in US with regular travel to Los Angeles, with potential to travel to the EU and other markets as needed
